Tenzin Yeshi Gurung (b. 2008) spent her childhood in a Tibetan refugee camp near Pokara (Jampling Tibetan Settlement). She is the granddaughter of one of the legendary Tibetan insurgents fighting the People’s Liberation Army in the 1960s.
She is a humanist. He attends the 11th grade of Namgyal Higher Secondary School in Kathmandu. Two years of high school are ahead of her, and then – if dreams come true – 3 years of study. Tenzin Yeshi really wants to become a teacher.
She is capable and hardworking. She won a photo competition organized by the Tibetan Children Village School of India in Dharamsala in 2019.
The annual cost of her education (tuition, meals, boarding school) is $ 1340, or $ 112 a month.
