In Nepal most of maturing children do not attend school. They work. If they are lucky they “only” have to support their parents working on the land. If not, factories in abroad countries are their destiny.

But Nepalese children have dreams of personal development and a chance for better life.

Since 2012 we are financing the schooling of children from Nepalese province of Mustang in the Himalayas. They come from families who lived in self-sufficiency for centuries, their traditions were passed down from generation to generation.  But the modern, global economy and the growth of tourism have irreversibly changed their world and made it hard to survive without education. Thanks to the Better Future Scholarship programme these young scholars learn skills which not only give them a possibilty of better job, but also enable them to preserve their social identity.
